The big moment in the Scottish Cultural Calender called
' Homecoming Scotland 2009 '
has gone into it's whisky phase with a series of events across the wee runty nation of midgies, rain and low expectations.
As a keen observer recently said of Scotland, "No Nation on Earth achieves so little with so much"
..... fine, so be it !
.... but we have good whisky to celebrate our glorious failure and drown the sorrows of success.

(Now only a Scotsman could have written this !!!)

Apart from Feis Ile on Islay, the Speyside Whisky Festival, Whisky Coast, Robbies Dram's Ayr Show, various Distillery Open-Day Specials and plenty other 'stuff', I reckon if all you curious punters and Malt Disciples want to discover more, the best thing to do is .....

GOOGLE 'Homecoming Scotland Whisky' ...... then malt-surf the results.
